NEW RELEASE!

Please check out my latest time travel romance novel!!
Cover by:Selfpubbookcovers.com

Ripley Tremont has been missing since April of 2016.
There's been talk about kidnapping, murder, and a possible cover-up.
The most often circulated rumors are the wild claims of alien abduction.
Although she did not leave home of her own volition, Ripley won't be
coming back, and looking for her would be a waste of time.
Ripley Tremont is alive and well, and living in the year 2416.

Back of the book blurb:

Imagine what it might be like after taking a nice hot shower, to open the curtain and find yourself in another dimension in time and space. Everything and everyone you ever knew – is gone.

That is exactly what happened to me - Ripley Tremont. One minute I’m drying off with a soft, fluffy towel, the next – I’ve traveled far into the future and end up in a strange new world. Worse yet, this particular planet remains locked in a state of perpetual winter - and not like the wimpy earth winters I was used to either. Being outside for more than a few minutes is downright hazardous, unless you’re into becoming an ice sculpture. Which I sort of was, for a while…
As if being transported to a frozen world wasn’t bad enough, I’ve learned that I’m residing within the only livable place on the planet, and, it just happens to be a prison! The guards are androids that seem far too human, and some of the convicts are sinister extraterrestrial beings, but all the weirdness aside – I guess things could be worse – at least I’m alive.
There are a couple of humans here, brothers no less, and they’re as different as night and day. Strangely enough, they’ve told me I need to write a book about my experience here so we can send it back in time. So here it is…
By the way, the future is amazing! Wish you were here!

My New Book!

Hello Readers!

I'm happy to announce that my latest novel is now available! I've been working on it (on and off) for a few years now, and spent the last several months editing, revising, and formatting. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

What you might not know, is that the inspiration for Garden of Time began with a beautiful painting. I found it at a resale shop a few years ago, and similar to Emma in the story, I was in the midst of a very dark time in my life. The picture emanated such a peaceful scene - immediately sparking my imagination, and the premise of the story came to me before I left the store.

Back of the book:
Emma Lee Parkinson's life appears to be perfect. She's young and beautiful and lives in an elegant high-rise condominium with her rich, handsome husband. Her closet is full of designer clothes, shoes, and purses. Dining at elegant restaurants, attending cocktail parties or upscale gala events are typical nights out on the town for her. Luxurious vacations are taken at least twice a year. This life of leisure allows Emma to pursue personal interests as well. She loves shopping for antiques, strolling through art galleries, museums, and furthering her own artistic skills with painting classes. Who could ask for more?
But appearances can be deceiving. Emma hates her life. With a passion.
Intimidated by a deep, dark secret, she lives in a constant state of dread. Battered, abused, and even threatened with death, she's often on the edge of panic. Paralyzed by fear, she's certain there's no way out.
Until the day she attempts to hang her latest find - a painting so enchanting that she buys it on a whim.
Little does she know...
this painting will change her life forever.

Note from the author:

A beautiful piece of artwork...a lovely painting to be exact. Emma's life changes the moment she sees it. True believers claim that it’s magical;
skeptics say that it’s just a colorful piece of canvas.
You’ll have to decide for yourself.

SONG OF MEMORY

NO LONGER COLLECTING DUST BUNNIES!

My 6th novel is available! (This book was actually the first one I ever wrote)

The "FROM the AUTHOR" note on Amazon explains it all:

SONG OF MEMORY is near and dear to my heart for so many reasons.
I wrote the story while still home-schooling my youngest son (who is now 28 years old)
As some of you know, this book was put on hold (or stuffed under my bed) for too many reasons to mention here...
But last January (2014) I began the long process of re-writing - finishing up by October...(and then we moved...again...)
After all the blood, sweat, and tears, and dragging the manuscript around from Wisconsin to Kansas City - to Davenport, Iowa - and back to Wisconsin...(three places mind you) it's finally done!
Even though this is my 6th published novel...it is actually my very
FIRST BOOK!
Here's hoping you all like it!

Back of the book:

SARA:
I’ve been known to lose things now and then.  Most often it’s something small - like earrings, sunglasses, or keys.  Occasionally a lone sock vanishes without a trace. Eventually these things will be found, replaced or forgotten.  But some things that disappear are people.
And apparently - I’m one of them.
What do you do when you’re finally found, but you didn’t even know you were missing?

JACK:
I’ve lost my share of things. Most were nonessential, like pocket change, gloves, and an umbrella.  I once lost my favorite old fishing hat when it blew right off my head and out to sea. But some things that disappear are irreplaceable; perhaps the most valuable thing in your life - like your wife. What do you do if you’re fortunate enough to finally find her, but she has absolutely no memory of you?

Song of Memory is a heartwarming story about two lonely people who, after nearly twenty years of separation, attempt to piece together exactly what happened to rip them apart.
